    1/2 cup (1 stick) marganne or butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 1/2 cups Tasteeos brand cereal
    1/2 cup candy coated chocolate pieces

    Recipe




    Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Beat margarine and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Stir in flour and bdking powder; mix well. Add cereal and chocolate pieces; stir just until blended. Drop by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart, onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool 1 minute before removing to racks to cool.
