Creamy Beef-and-Pasta Sauce Dip

1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
Vegetable cooking spray
1 (26-ounce) jar low-fat pasta sauce
1 (8-ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Cook beef and onion in a large skillet coated with cooking spray until beef crumbles and is no longer pink. Remove beef mixture from skillet, and drain well; wipe skillet with a paper towel.
Add pasta sauce and next 3 ingredients to skillet; cook over low heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in beef mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve warm with baked tortilla chips, carrots, or celery sticks.
