    • 1 pkg. (16 oz) fresh breakfast sausage
    • 2T. finely chopped onion
    • 6T. all purpose flour
    • 2 cans (12 oz) evaporated milk
    • 1c. water
    • 1/4t. salt
    • 1/4t. hot pepper sauce or to taste
    • 10 hot biscuits, split


    Instructions


    1. Combine sausage and onion in large skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink.
    2. Stir in flour; mix well. Stir in evaporated milk, water, salt and hot pepper sauce.
    3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil.
    4. Cook for 1 to 2 mins.
    5. Serve immediately over hot biscuits.
