Old Fashion Chicken Gravy

- 2T. butter
- 1T. flour
- 3/4c. chicken stock
- 1/4c. light cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pour grease from pan after frying chicken and replace it with the butter.
- When the butter has melted, stir in the flour. When the butter and flour mixture is bubbly, stir in the stock and the cream.
- Cook until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve with fried chicken or over biscuits or mashed potatoes.
