    Old Fashion Chicken Gravy

    List of Ingredients


    • 2T. butter
    • 1T. flour
    • 3/4c. chicken stock
    • 1/4c. light cream
    • salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Pour grease from pan after frying chicken and replace it with the butter.
    2. When the butter has melted, stir in the flour. When the butter and flour mixture is bubbly, stir in the stock and the cream.
    3. Cook until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
    4. Serve with fried chicken or over biscuits or mashed potatoes.
