    Recipe Introduction


    These cost a little bit more to make. But let me tell you, they are worth it. Some of the best ribs I have ever put in my mouth. I think I got this recipe from a Southern Living magazine in the 90's.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2T. pepper
    • 1T. garlic powder
    • 1T. Creole seasoning
    • 1T. Worcestershire sauce
    • 8 lb. pork spareribs
    • Combine first 4 ingredients. Rub on meat. Grill.
    • Grill Basting Sauce:
    • 1/4c. firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1/4c. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4c. prepared mustard
    • 3/4c. ketchup
    • 2T. ground black pepper
    • 2 3/4c. red wine vinegar
    • 1 3/4c. water
    • 3/4c. dry white wine
    • 2-4T. salt
    • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.Cook over med. heat 1 hour. Baste ribs.
    • The Sauce:
    • 1T. butter
    • 1 med. onion, finely chopped
    • 1/2T. minced garlic
    • 1c. ketchup
    • 1/2c. white vinegar
    • 1/4c. fresh lemon juice
    • 1/4c. Dale sauce


    Instructions


    1. 2T. brown sugar
    2. 1T. Cajun seasoning
    3. 2T. liquid smoke
    4. Melt butter in a large skillet over med. heat, add onion and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
    5. Add garlic and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer about 15 mins.
    6. Serve with Ribs.
