Recipe Introduction
These cost a little bit more to make. But let me tell you, they are worth it. Some of the best ribs I have ever put in my mouth. I think I got this recipe from a Southern Living magazine in the 90's.
List of Ingredients
- 2T. pepper
- 1T. garlic powder
- 1T. Creole seasoning
- 1T. Worcestershire sauce
- 8 lb. pork spareribs
- Combine first 4 ingredients. Rub on meat. Grill.
- Grill Basting Sauce:
- 1/4c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4c. prepared mustard
- 3/4c. ketchup
- 2T. ground black pepper
- 2 3/4c. red wine vinegar
- 1 3/4c. water
- 3/4c. dry white wine
- 2-4T. salt
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.Cook over med. heat 1 hour. Baste ribs.
- The Sauce:
- 1T. butter
- 1 med. onion, finely chopped
- 1/2T. minced garlic
- 1c. ketchup
- 1/2c. white vinegar
- 1/4c. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4c. Dale sauce
Instructions
- 2T. brown sugar
- 1T. Cajun seasoning
- 2T. liquid smoke
- Melt butter in a large skillet over med. heat, add onion and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
- Add garlic and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer about 15 mins.
- Serve with Ribs.
