    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2c. red wine vinegar
    • 1T. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1t. each of basil, thyme, oregano
    • 1/2c. ketchup
    • 2 minced garlic cloves
    • 1/2t. liquid smoke
    • 1T. sugar
    • 6 (8oz) New York striploin steaks


    Instructions


    1. In a sauce pan, combine all the ingredients except steaks.
    2. Trim all the fat from the steaks. Cut away the small gristle strip, this will prevent the steaks from curling while cooking.
    3. Pour marinade over steaks and refrigerate, covered for 6 hours.
    4. Grill the steaks over medium coals to desired doneness. Brush frequently with marinade.
    5. Serves:6
