Teriyaki Steak with Onions

List of Ingredients
- 1 beef flank steak (about 1 1/2 lb. )
- 1/2c. soy sauce
- 1/4c. dry white wine
- 2T. brown sugar
- 1t. grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 1T. butter
Instructions
- Place steak in large plastic bag; place bag in large bowl.
- In 1 qt. measure, combine soy sauce, wine, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Pour marinade over steak in bag; turn to coat with marinade.
- Close bag securely and refrigerte 6-8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
- Drain meat; reserve marinade. Grill steak on uncovered grill, over medium hot coals 10-15 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once.
- Meanwhile in skillet, cook onion in butter until soft. Stir in 1/2c. reserved marinade; cook 4-5 minutes.
- Carve steak diagonally across grain into thin slices. Serve with cooked onion slices.
- Makes: 5-6 servings.
