    1 pound ground beef or venison
    1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked
    1 can tomato soup
    1 cup onion,diced
    salt and pepper to taste

    Mix all ingredients except the soup and form this into small
    meatballs. Add 1 cup water to the soup concentrate and bring this
    to a slow boil. Gently drop in the meatballs and simmer with a
    tight fitting lid.

    Cook until the wild rice is done and sticks out of the meatballs
    like tiny porcupine quills (about40-50 minutes).
