- 1/2c. apple juice
- 1/4c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2c. A1 steak sauce
- 2T. lemon juice
- 1T. cornstarch
- 1t. grated lemon peel
Instructions
- In small saucepan, blend apple juice and brown sugar. Stir in steak sauce, lemon juice, cornstarch and lemon peel.
- Over medium heat, heat to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil 1 minute; remove from heat and cool slightly. Use as a baste while grilling poultry, pork or ham.
- Makes: about 1 1/4 cups
