Recipe Introduction
If it was a school day when we kilt hogs, us young uns had to stay home and help. Meanest job was turnin the sausage grinder.
List of Ingredients
- (For each 2 lb. lean pork)
- 1t. black pepper
- 2 lb. pork
- 1t. red pepper, crumbled
- 2T. backbone fat
- 1/2t. salt
- 2T. sage
Instructions
- After grindin meat, mix other ingredients well, then sprinkle and work in with paddle.
- Best to keep sprinklin as you stir. Work down into pats and keep cool till used.
