    DUCK BASTING SAUCE

    A very good basting sauce, which adds to the flavor of duck:
    1 cup fruit jelly (apple, grape, currant, etc.)
    3 tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 cup port or sherry
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Baste ducks with it and with the drippings.
