    Teriyaki Ginger Marinade

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2c. soy sauce
    • 1/2c. dry white wine
    • 1/4c. sake or dry sherry
    • 1/4c. sugar
    • 2 slices fresh ginger root
    • 2T. water
    • 1T. cornstarch


    Instructions


    1. Combine the soy sauce, wine, sake or sherry, sugar and ginger in a small saucepan.
    2. Bring to a boil and then simmer over med. heat 3 mins. Blend water with cornstarch; stir into sauce.
    3. Stir over med. heat 1 min. or until thickened. Strain sauce.
    4. Makes about 1 cup. Set aside to cool or refrigerate up to 1 week.
    5. Use as marinade for chicken, beef, pork or seafood.
