Teriyaki Ginger Marinade

List of Ingredients
- 1/2c. soy sauce
- 1/2c. dry white wine
- 1/4c. sake or dry sherry
- 1/4c. sugar
- 2 slices fresh ginger root
- 2T. water
- 1T. cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, wine, sake or sherry, sugar and ginger in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer over med. heat 3 mins. Blend water with cornstarch; stir into sauce.
- Stir over med. heat 1 min. or until thickened. Strain sauce.
- Makes about 1 cup. Set aside to cool or refrigerate up to 1 week.
- Use as marinade for chicken, beef, pork or seafood.
