Veal Parmesan

List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. thin veal cutlet
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2c. bread crumbs
- 2T. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2oz) can condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1/4c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- dash thyme
- 4 oz. mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Dip veal cutlet in egg, then in bread crumbs. Brown in shortening in oven proof skillet.
- Add soup, water, onion, garlic, and thyme. Cook over low heat 45 mins. or until tender; stir now and then.
- Top with cheese; sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Broil until cheese melts.
