- 1T. cornstarch
- 2t. water
- 1/2c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- 6T. sugar
- few grains of salt
Instructions
- Moisten cornstarch in water. Stir in the 1/2c. boiling water.
- Cook until thick and clear. Cool. Beat the egg whites until stiff, add salt and sugar gradually.
- Beat in the cornstarch and heat until it stands in peaks.
- Spread on pie and seal edges. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
