    1950's better homes and gardens cookbook
    Cook 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water 3 minutes for simple syrup; store in refrigerator. Mix 3 to 4 T. syrup, 1 1/2 T. lemon juice, and 1 cup water for each serving. Pour into ice filled glasses.
