List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 2 1/2 cups sifted enriched flour
- 1/2t. soda
- 1/4t. salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Thoroughly cream shortening, butter, and sugar; add eggs; beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture; add nuts.
- Drop from teaspoon, about 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350) 12 to 15 minutes.
- Makes 5 dozen
