    Instructions


    1. First, go to the nearest pea patch and pick a bushel of peas.
    2. Then shell about 1 lb. Wash several times. Put peas, one sliced onion and bacon pieces in 12c. water.
    3. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook about 2 hrs. Blanche the rest of the shelled and washed peas and freeze in qt. size bags.
