List of Ingredients
- 8 oz. linguini noodles
- 1 lb. top sirloin, very thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2t. thyme
- 2t. oil
- 1/4 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (14 1/2 oz) can Del Monte Original Style Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 can (8oz) Del Monte Tomato Sauce
- 3/4c. dry red wine
Instructions
- Cook pasta as pkg. directs; drain. Saute meat, garlic and thyme in hot oil 3 mins. Add mushrooms; cook 1 min.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 15 mins. stirring occasionally.
- Serve over pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Prep time: 10 mins.
- Cook time: 20 mins.
- Makes: 4 servings.
