- 1 1/2 LB. GROUND BEEF
- 1C. CHOPPED ONIONS
- 1 CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED
- 1-28 OZ. CAN TOMATOES, CUT UP
- 1-15 OZ. CAN TOMATO SAUCE
- 1-4OZ. CAN MUSHROOMS, DRAINED
- 2t. SUGAR
- 1 1/2t. OREGANO
- 1t. SALT
- 1t. BASIL
- 8 OZ. SPAGHETTI, BROKEN, COOKED, DRAINED
- 1-2 C. SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
- 1/3C. PARMESAN CHEESE
Instructions
- IN A DUTCH OVEN COOK GROUND BEEF, ONION, AND GARLIC TIL DONE. DRAIN.
- STIR IN TOMATOES, TOMATO SAUCE, MUSHROOMS, SUGAR, OREGANO, SALT, BASIL.
- BRING TO A BOIL. BOIL GENTLY FOR 20-25 MINS. STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT, STIR IN COOKED SPAGHETTI.
- PLACE 1/2 OF THE MIXTURE IN 13X9X2 DISH.
- SPRINKLE WITH MOZZARELLA.
- TOP WITH REMAINING SAUCE, SPRINKLE WITH PARMESAN.
- BAKE AT 375 FOR 30 MINS.
- MAKES 12 SERVINGS.
