    Beer Braised Sirloin Chops w/ Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 boneless sirloin pork chops 3/4 inch thick
    • 2T. flour
    • 1T. butter
    • 1/2c. chopped green onion
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/2t. thyme
    • 8oz. beer, room temp.
    • salt
    • black pepper
    • buttered noodles (optional)
    • minced fresh parsley (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Lightly flour chops. Melt butter in nonstick skillet over medium heat until foaming.
    2. Brown chops quickly on both sides. Remove, reserve. Add green onion, garlic, mushrooms and thyme and saute an additional minute.
    3. Return chops to skillet, add beer; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 7-8 minutes.
    4. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with noodles, garnished with parsley, if desired.
