Buttermilk Herb Fried Chicken

- 1/2c. flour
- 1t. dried thyme
- 1/2t. garlic powder
- 1/4t. pepper
- 1T. parsley
- 1/3c. buttermilk
- 1 frying chicken, cut up
- 1/3c. oil
Instructions
- In 9 inch pie plate, combine all coating ingredients. Dip chicken in buttermilk, then in mixture.
- In skillet, heat oil. Add chicken, skin side down. Cook over med. heat until brown and tender.
