Chicken Marinara w/ Mushrooms

- 12oz. spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2T. butter
- 1 lb. boneless chicken , cut into thin bite size strips
- 1/2t. dried chervil, crushed
- 1/2t. basil, crushed
- 1/4t. thyme, crushed
- 6oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1(27oz) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2c. dry white wine
- 2t. sugar
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to pkg. directions. Drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook garlic in hot butter for 30 seconds.
- Add half the chicken, dried chervil, basil and thyme, cook and stir for 3-4 mins. or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Remove chicken , reserving drippings in skillet. Repeat with remaining chicken and herbs.
- Add mushrooms to drippings in skillet. Cook and stir about 3 mins. or until tender.
- Add sauce, wine and sugar. Return chicken to skillet. Heat.
- Serve over hot cooked pasta.
