Scalloped Chicken

List of Ingredients
- 3c. cooked diced chicken
- 1/2c. butter
- 1/2c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 2 1/2c. chicken broth
- 1c. milk
- 4c. bread crumbs
- 1/2c. celery
- 1 small minced onion
- 1/4c. butter
- 1/2t. sage
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
Instructions
- Cook chicken and dice. Melt 1/2c. butter in pan.
- Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.
- Stir in broth. Add milk and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Toss in bread crumbs, onion, celery, sage, butter.
- Arrange in 2 qt. casserole. Top chicken with sauce and mushrooms. Mix well.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350.
