Chinese Rice

1 egg, beaten
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp oil
1 can chicken broth
4 green onions, cut diagonally
1 carrot, thin sliced diagonally
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 cups instant rice
Procedures:
1 Cook and stir egg and garlic in hot oil, stir contantly to scramble egg and break into pieces
2 Add broth, green onion, carrot, water chestnuts, soy sauce, brown sugar and ginger
3 Bring to boil
4 Remove and cover
5 Let stand 5 minutes
6 Fluff with fork
