2 tsp (10mL) butter
2 large onions, peeled and diced
1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb Seasoning Blend
1 cup (250mL) brown rice
2 cups (500mL) water
1/2 cup (125mL) Swiss cheese, grated
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Melt butter in skillet, add onion and cook until tender, place in a 1 quart (1L) casserole.
3. Stir in brown rice, water and Mrs. Dash® Garlic and Herb Seasoning, cover and cook for 60 minutes.
4. Remove from oven, sprinkle cooked rice with grated Swiss cheese and put back into oven until cheese melts.
