    A Mexican variation of chili. Especially good for a winter supper.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 onion, minced
    • 1 green bell pepper diced
    • 7 oz. enchilada sauce
    • 8 oz. tomato sauce
    • chili powder, salt and pepper to taste
    • Fritos or broken tacos
    • sharp cheese, grated
    • lettuce, shredded
    • tomatoes, diced


    Instructions


    1. Brown meat, onion and pepper; drain. Add enchilada and tomato sauces.
    2. Season to taste with spices. Simmer 40 mins.
    3. At serving time, place a layer of Fritos in the bottom of each bowl; top with hot meat mixture, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.
