List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 envelope (1/4c.) dry onion soup mix
- 3/4c. cold water
- 1 med. head lettuce, torn in bite size pieces (4c.)
- 1 large tomato, cut in wedges
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1/4c. chopped green pepper
- 1(6oz) pkg. corn chips
- 1/2c. sliced ripe olives
- 4oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1c)
Instructions
- In skillet, brown beef. Sprinkle soup mix over meat; stir in water.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 10 mins. In salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, olives and cheese.
- Toss well. Place lettuce mixture on individual salad plates.
- Spoon on meat; top with corn chips.
- Serves: 4-6
