Beefy Hash Burgers

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. hash browns
- 2c. hot water
- 2T. yellow mustard
- 1/2c. ketchup
- 1 onion, diced
- 1c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 12 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Cook beef over med. heat until brown; drain. Slightly crush potatoes. Stir potatoes and remaining ingredients except cheese and buns into beef.
- Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered about 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed and potatoes are tender.
- Stir in cheese until melted. Fill buns with beef mixture.
- Makes: 12 sandwiches
