    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 pkg. hash browns
    • 2c. hot water
    • 2T. yellow mustard
    • 1/2c. ketchup
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 12 hamburger buns


    Instructions


    1. Cook beef over med. heat until brown; drain. Slightly crush potatoes. Stir potatoes and remaining ingredients except cheese and buns into beef.
    2. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered about 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed and potatoes are tender.
    3. Stir in cheese until melted. Fill buns with beef mixture.
    4. Makes: 12 sandwiches
