    Source of Recipe

    pillsbury

    Recipe Introduction

Focaccia bread is a flavorful foundation for this hearty ham, cheese and lettuce sandwich that can be eaten now or wrapped for later.

1 round loaf (12 to 16 oz) focaccia bread (9 inch)
1/3 cup sandwich spread or mayonnaise
1/2 lb thinly sliced cooked ham
1/2 cup very thinly sliced red onion, if desired
6 slices (3/4 oz each) mozzarella cheese
2 or 3 leaves leaf lettuce

DIRECTIONS 1. Cut bread in half horizontally to make 2 layers. Spread cut sides with sandwich spread.
    2. On bottom half of bread, layer ham, onion, cheese and lettuce. Cover with top half of bread. Cut into 6 wedges. Serve immediately, or wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
