List of Ingredients
- 1c. A1 Steak Sauce
- 2/3c. chili sauce
- 1/2c. water
- 3T. Dijon mustard
- 1 (2 lb.) beef top round steak
- 2T. oil
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 8 sandwich rolls, split and toasted
Instructions
- In small bowl, combine steak sauce, chili sauce, water, and mustard; set aside.
- In large heavy saucepan, over med. high heat, brown steak in oil.
- Add onions, stirring until lightly browned. Stir in sauce mixture; heat to a boil.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hrs. or until steak is tender.
- Remove steak; cut into julienne strips. Return steak to pan; cook and stir until hot.
- Spoon steak mixture onto roll bottoms; replace tops. Serve immediately.
- Makes: 8 servings.
