    Spicy Barbecue Beef Sandwich

    List of Ingredients


    • 1c. A1 Steak Sauce
    • 2/3c. chili sauce
    • 1/2c. water
    • 3T. Dijon mustard
    • 1 (2 lb.) beef top round steak
    • 2T. oil
    • 2 large onions, sliced
    • 8 sandwich rolls, split and toasted


    Instructions


    1. In small bowl, combine steak sauce, chili sauce, water, and mustard; set aside.
    2. In large heavy saucepan, over med. high heat, brown steak in oil.
    3. Add onions, stirring until lightly browned. Stir in sauce mixture; heat to a boil.
    4. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hrs. or until steak is tender.
    5. Remove steak; cut into julienne strips. Return steak to pan; cook and stir until hot.
    6. Spoon steak mixture onto roll bottoms; replace tops. Serve immediately.
    7. Makes: 8 servings.
