    Mushroom Bacon Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 5 slices bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
    • 1 (10 oz) pkg. mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/4c. A1 steak sauce
    • 2T. sherry cooking wine


    Instructions


    1. In large skillet, over medium high heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon.
    2. Reserve 2T. drippings. In same skillet, saute mushrooms in reserved drippings for 5 minutes or until tender.
    3. Stir in steak sauce, sherry and bacon; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
    4. Serve hot with cooked beef, burgers, or poultry.
    5. Makes: 1 1/2 cups
