Rotel Spicy Tomato Sauce

- 2 T. olive oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-10 oz. can Rotel
- 1-28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1t. dried basil
- 1t. dried oregano
- 1T. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2c. white wine
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat cook onions and garlic in hot oil.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except wine.
- Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in wine and simmer 5 more minutes.
