Marinated Onions

- 1 1/4c. vinegar
- 1/2c. cooking oil
- 1/2c. sugar
- 2t. salt
- 10 Spanish onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and heat, stirring until sugar and salt are dissolved.
- Place onions in a large jar and pour in vinegar mixture.
- Refrigerate for several days, shaking jar occasionally.
