List of Ingredients
- 2c. pinto beans, soaked overnight
- 1/2 lb. thick bacon slices, cut into 1 inch bits
- 1 large green chili pepper, seeded and sliced
- 2c. tomatoes
- 1t. chili powder
- 1/2t. cumin powder
- 1/2c. grated cheese
Instructions
- Drain beans and cook for 1 hour or until tender. Fry bacon until crisp.
- Set aside. In bacon fat add pepper and cook till tender.
- Add tomatoes, cook 15 minutes.
- Add beans, bacon, chili powder, and cumin to saucepan. Mix well.
- Cook 15 minutes. Sprinkle cheese and serve.
