    Pinto Beans with Ham Hock

    • 3 smoked ham hocks
    • 2 lb. dried pinto beans
    • 1/2t. garlic powder
    • 1/2t. crushed red pepper
    • 1/4t. black pepper
    • 1/2t. salt
    • 2t. hot sauce
    • 1/2 med. onion, chopped


    Instructions


    1. Boil ham hock on high for 45 mins. Add all seasonings except hot sauce and onion.
    2. Continue boiling for 20 mins. Add beans, hot sauce and onion.
    3. Boil on med. heat until beans are done.
