    Velveeta Taco Mac & Cheese

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1/3c. Thick-n-Chunky Salsa
    • 1 1/2t. chili powder
    • 2c.(8oz) elbow macaroni, uncooked
    • 1/2lb. (8oz) Velveeta, cut up


    Instructions


    1. Brown meat, drain. Stir in 2 3/4 c. water, salsa and chili powder.
    2. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni; cover. Reduce heat to medium low; simmer 8-10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed.
    3. Add Velveeta; cook until melted, stirring frequently. Garnish with 1/2c. crushed tortilla chips, 1/4c. chopped tomato and 2T. chopped green onions if desired.
