Dreamy Chicken Stew

- 1 (10 1/2oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2c. water
- 1c. sliced celery
- 1 med. onion, quartered
- 1t salt
- 1/4t. poultry seasoning
- 1/8t. pepper
- 1 stewing chicken (4-5 lb. ) cut up
- 4 med. potatoes, quartered
- 6 med. carrots, cut in pieces
- 1/4 c. flour
Instructions
- Combine soup, 1c. water, celery, onion, and seasonings in large heavy pan; add chicken.
- Cover; cook over low heat 1 1/2 hours; stir often. Add vegetables.
- Cover; cook 45 mins. or until chicken and vegetables are tender.
- To thicken, blend flour and remaining water; gradually stir into stew. Cook 10-15 mins.; stir often.
- Serves: 4 to 6
