Quick Sauce for Green Beans

1 1/2-lbs. fresh green beans (or 2 10-oz boxes frozen)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 cup sour cream
salt and pepper to taste

Microwave trimmed and rinsed green beans (about 5 minutes on High, microwaves vary) in 1 cup water. Drain,
reserving water. Meanwhile, heat butter or margarine in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onion and
cook until soft, about 2 minutes. Add sugar and vinegar. Add flour and cook 1 minute over medium heat. Add 1 cup of drained water from beans. Cook 5-7 minutes. Add sour cream, salt and pepper. Pour over beans and sprinkle with paprika.
