Venison Teriyaki

List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. cubed venison, cut into 1 1/2inch wide strips
- 1 dozen 5 inch wooden skewers
- Marinade:
- 1/4c. teriyaki marinade or rib sauce
- 1/4c. soy sauce
- 1/4c. honey
- 1/4c. water
- 3T. cooking sherry
- 1/2t. minced garlic
- 1/4t. ground ginger
- 1/2t. cayenne pepper
- 1/2t. dry mustard
- Honey Glaze:
- 1/4c. honey
- 1/2t. dry mustard
- Make glaze by stirring together.
Instructions
- Cut strips about 4 inches long and place in sealable bag. Mix marinade, soy sauce, honey, water, sherry, garlic, ginger, cayenne and mustard together.
- Pour over meat. Seal and shake well. Marinate 3 hours or overnight.
- Remove meat and thread on skewers. Grill for 1-2 minutes each side, basting often.
- Turn and cook 1 more minute. Remove from grill and brush with honey glaze.
