List of Ingredients
6 medium size hard deli rolls
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 stick butter, divided as needed
3/4 can tomato soup, undiluted
pepper to taste
garlic salt
Recipe
Saute onion and green pepper in 3 tablespoons butter until transparent. Hollow hard rolls to within 1/4 inch shell, reserving bread crumbs. With a back of spoon, lightly butter inside of rolls and sprinkle to taste with garlic salt. Break bread crumbs into small pieces in large mixing bowl. Add onion and pepper mix, uncooked ground beef, and tomato soup. Mix thoroughly. Mound ground beef mix into rolls. Place on foil lined baking sheet that is dotted with butter. Bake 40-50 minutes until meat is done
