1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/8 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 In a large mixing bowl cream butter with an electric mixer. Then add sugars and blend
thoroughly. Add egg, vanilla and mix until batter is smooth. 2 In a small mixing bowl sift
together flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Gradually add dry mixture to batter and blend
until combined. Add 1/2 of chips to the batter and mix at high speed until chips break into
smaller pieces. Then stir in remaining chips. 3 Roll the dough into 1 and half inch balls. To
avoid flat cookies make sure the balls are made tightly. Place on cookie sheet and
bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minute until golden brown.
