Clam Linguini

List of Ingredients
8 green onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 T olive oil
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams
14 1/2 oz. can stewed or diced tomatoes
1/4 c white wine
2 T minced fresh or 2 tsp dried basil
1 T fresh or 1 tsp dried oregano
4 c cooked whole wheat linguini
grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Drain clams, but reserve the liquid. Saute onion, garlic and red pepper flakes in olive oil for 2-3 min. Add reserved clam juice, tomatoes, wine, basil and oregano. Simmer uncovered for 10-12 min. Add clams. Heat through. Toss with linguini. Top with cheese. 4 servings
