    Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter
    • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar (packed)
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 tablespoons milk
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla
    • 1 3/4 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 1/2 cups quick oats
    • 1 twelve ounce package chocolate chips
    • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 375 degrees
    2. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy
    3. Add eggs, milk and vanilla & beat well
    4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt & mix well
    5. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.
    6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
    7. Bake 9-10 minutes
    8. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet


    Final Comments


    Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

    For Bar Cookies: Press dough onto bottom of ungreased 13x9 baking pan and bake 30-35 minutes
