    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1/2 cup shortnening
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 tablespoon milk
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon bakign powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup oats
    • 1/3 cup chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
    2. Beat brown sugar, white sugar, shortening, egg, vanilla, and milk until smooth
    3. Blend in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
    4. Add oats and chocolate chips
    5. Bake for 10 minutes
