- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease 9x9x2 pan.
- In large mixing bowl, blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla.
- Add eggs; using spoon, beat well.
- Combine flour (a little at a time), cocoa, baking powder, and salt gradually into egg mixture; blend well.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Let cool & frost if desired
Final Comments
Makes about 16 brownies.
