    unbelievably easy and delicious homemade spaghetti

    List of Ingredients




    4 eggs, beaten
    2 cans (12 oz.) Hunt's Tomato Paste
    1/2 cup minced onion
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese (I use Italian mix)
    3 tablespoons minced parsley
    1 or 2 cloves garlic minced
    salt
    2 lbs. ground beef or chuck
    1 1/2 soft italian style bread crumbs
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    4 cups hot water
    1 1/2 tsp sugar or splenda
    2 tsp. basil
    2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained (we always use angel hair)

    Recipe



    In a bowl, mix together eggs, 2 tbsp. tomato paste, onion, cheese, parsley, garlic, and 2 tsp. salt. Add beef and bread crumbs; mix thoroughly. Form into 20-40 meatballs (depending on size of each). Lightly brown in a hot skillet on all sides in hot oil; drain fat. Blend remaining tomato paste with hot water, sugar, basil and oregano, 1 tsp. salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Pour over meatballs. Simmer covered 10 mins. Uncover; simmer ten minutes more. Serve over spaghetti.
    (I usually make my meatballs a bit bigger than the recipe says and then I bake them in the oven after frying them, while I'm baking the garlic bread, then add them to the sauce and simmer them.
