Recipe Introduction
The resturant gave me this recipe so I could fix it for Dennis' Birthday. They were very nice about giving me this since it was an appetizer on their menu.
List of Ingredients
- MARINADE:
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp.lemon juice
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 c vegetable oil
- CHICKEN:
- 2 pints chicken livers--- can use breast cut into cubes
- 11/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp.pepper
- 1/2 c flour
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 2 medium green peppers
- cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- Combine the first 5 ingredients i food processor- blen 30 seconds. Gradually add oil in steady stream. Blend til smooth. Mix flour, salt, pepper. Dredge livers in flour. Heat oil in skillet over med heat. Saute livers til stiff and firm but pink. Julienne green peppers and combine with livers. Pour marinade over livers & peppers and marinade 2 hrs. or overnight.
