    Macaroni and Seafood

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb macaroni
    6 qt salted water for macaroni, your choice of style
    1lb large shrimp, peeled cleaned and cut in half
    1 lb scallops, par-boiled(reserve water)
    1 whole clove garlic, peeled and chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 cup olive oil, or more if necessary
    juice of 5-6 lemons
    1 tbs dried parsley
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    While water is put up to boil, fry shrimp, scallops, onion and garlic in
    olive oil until done, add lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Cook macaroni as to directions, drain, and return to pot, add entire contents of
    frying pan to macaroni and mix well, add some of the scallop water if more
    moisture is needed.
    Ladle into bowls and serve with grated cheese and some may like to add crushed red pepper flakes.
