    Use a ham steak and cut the steak into pieces (about 2-inches long and 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch wide). Mix Philadelphia cream cheese (which has been brought to room temperature) with garlic powder (to taste) and a little milk to thin the mixture just a little. Dip 1/3 to 1/2 of each ham finger into the cream cheese mixture and then roll the cream-cheese-covered end in finely crushed nuts (peanuts, pecans, walnuts -- your choice). Arrange on a tray.
