    A).
    2/3 cup sugar,
    1 Tsp shortening,
    2 large eggs

    B).
    2 cup flour,
    1 tsp baking powder,
    1/2 cup sesame seeds

    C).
    oil

    Recipe



    1. Mix ingredients of A. until thoroughly combined; sift B. and add to A. Knead to a soft dough; flatten the dough slightly and cut it into 16 pieces. Dip a piece of dough in water and roll it into a ball. Roll the ball in the sesame seeds. Be sure to press the seeds slightly into the balls so that the seeds won�t fall off during frying. Make the other balls in the same manner.


    2. Heat the wok to medium hot then add oil; deep-fry the balls over low heat until they expand and open. Turn the heat to high and deep-fry the balls until golden brown; remove, drain and let cool. Serve!
